St Luke’s is an adult hospice that cares for people from Mid and South Cheshire suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
We are a non-profit making organisation, funded by voluntary contributions and the local Primary Care Trust. We offer treatment, care, advice and support to many seriously ill people and their families every year.
Our hospice is set in the quiet environs of Winsford and comprises an In-patient Unit, which cares for 10 patients, a Day Care Unit, which cares for 15 patients a day, a Complementary Therapies for Health & Well-Being Clinic, a counselling team, social work team, lymphoedema team and also a medical team that works across the hospice. (For further information on any of the above, please click on Patient Services.) The hospice is base for a well established Education Unit for Palliative Care, Cheshire Hospices Education. The clinical and educational services are very well supported by an array of staff and volunteers across the hospice, including catering, administrative and business teams.
Our patients are normally referred to us by doctors or Macmillan nurses, but we welcome enquiries and can arrange informal visits. Please click on Contact Us to make enquiries.
