We are thrilled that after a two year gap, we are again holding our Burland Hall weekend courtesy of Bob and Joan Corfield.
Those of you that are not familiar with this fabulous weekend (which is held just outside Nantwich) can follow our weekly update which will keep you informed on how this two day event develops, the attractions and exhibitors as they are booked and allows you to know when tickets are available.
Saturday 29th May
On the Saturday night we will be holding our Picnic Ball in a beautifully dressed marquee. You and your friends purchase a table (or the share of a table). We cloth it for you and you then bring your own picnic and drinks which can be as grand as you choose. Crockery is available to hire from one of our suppliers and this makes the carrying of your ‘creative’ picnic easier!
We will be having a fantastic live band for dancing and our popular visual auction. Tickets are available at £25 each. Please call or e-mail us for a booking form.
Sunday 30th May (12.00-5.00pm)
The Country Fair is a unique mix of fair and the ‘nicest’ garden party imaginable. The individual walled gardens are turned into a fabulous food court, a professionally laid 9 hole golf putting course, a tranquillity garden for complementary therapies and a garden for musical entertainment.
The marquee will host up to 40 shopping stands from fine food and drink to jewellery and interior design with everything in between.
There will be varied entertainment and attractions throughout the afternoon which will include floristy and gardening talks and demonstrations. There will be a circus workshop for children to learn the ‘tricks of the trade.’ We will have a Laser clay shooting competition and the giant climbing rock. Once again, we will be holding our watercolour challenge competition, with the added attraction this year of a children’s competition.
Sounds fun? Well this is only the beginning. Our committee will be working hard to put together a fantastic weekend and details will be updated on a fortnightly basis.
