Hi everyone!

My name is Lynne Murphy and I am the Manager of the Middlewich St Luke's Shop. I have been with St Luke's for the past five years, two as a volunteer and the past three years as Manager.

Our shops was one of the first shops St Luke's opened to help with fundraising for the hospice.

If you have never been to Middlewich before, you will find us in the town centre, near to the end of Wheelock Street, facing Darlington Street.

We have a great bunch of volunteers who are all very dedicated to generating as much money for the hospice as possible.

We have Doreen, who has been with us for twelve years; she looks after all the bric-brac for me. Every winter she takes herself to New Zealand for at least six weeks - lucky Doreen! Poor us.

Chris looks after books for me. Our Book Section is really coming along now. We recently sold a rare book at auction and made nearly £100!

We also have a fantastic range of children's wear and toys. This section is doing really well because Middlewich is only a small town and we don't have a children's clothes shop.

If we have any unusual or valuable items donated we save them for our annual auction, which we have found very successful in the past.

Please feel free to call in any time for a welcome smile!

SIGNED BOOK SALE! We've got a number of signed biographies and autobiographies and they're all going on sale Tuesday 26 February through Saturday 1 March.
