You will have been referred to us by a doctor or Macmillan nurse, or you may have already visited our Hospice, so we will have advance knowledge of your arrival and be ready to welcome you.
Whether you arrival by private transport or ambulance, a staff member will meet you and your family at our Reception. You’ll all be offered refreshments and given a tour of the facilities. You’ll be introduced to staff and other patients before consulting a Hospice doctor to discuss your symptoms. A nurse will then talk you and your family through a programme of care, devised to meet your specific needs.
