Following a period of consultation and deliberation it has been decided that as part of our review of trading we will be maintaining our shop premises in Middlewich. No decision has yet been made regarding the flat above, but this will be made in the next two months.
The Management and Board of Trustees of St Luke’s Hospice is committed to continually review the performance of all of our shops and a new management structure, which will empower our talented volunteers whilst allowing our managers to grow and learn new skills will be implemented over the next few months and into 2014.
It has been a difficult process for all of us but we are united in wanting to deliver as much money for patient care as is physically possible. To do this we need to ask the Middlewich community to help us achieve this. We need new volunteers to work with the current team and will be actively recruiting so please come and see us. The community has shown that they love the shop and we now need to work together to make it a huge success so that we can deliver as much money as possible for patient care.
