The St Luke’s annual Santa Day at Oulton Park on Sunday 8 December was done with a twist this year! A record 304 Santas registered to take part. Aged from a few months old to ‘you’re never too old’, people from all over Cheshire and the Wirral joined forces to show their support for the hospice.
This year our Santas Day Out was themed around people having fun and joining together to support St Luke’s. Luke our Bentley bus had children queued up to visit Santa in his grotto. Families took to the race track with their cycles, scooters, roller skates, pushchairs. They were running, walking and generally having a great time. The ‘man versus mince pie’ challenge brought about much laughter, with the winner managing to eat 6 mince pies in 3 minutes. The men were very competitive when it came to the bed push race!
Thank you to everyone who took part!
