Why not take on a new role for St Luke’s this year and join one of our existing support groups or become a ‘Friend of St Luke’s’,

Our support groups in Audlem, Tarporley, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Winsford, Nantwich, Shavington and Crewe meet on a regular basis and have a chair, treasurer and secretary and run events throughout the year and these groups together raise over £85,000 per year. All groups are looking for new members and volunteers to help out at events.

In addition to support groups we have just started Friends groups in Hartford, Middlewich and Alsager. These groups are different to our support groups, they are either individuals or groups of people who come together on an ad-hoc basis to help raise awareness of St Luke’s in the community and to raise funds to support patient care. There are no formal meetings, all funds raised are handed over to the Hospice directly, so there is no need for keeping paperwork or accounts.

For both support and friends groups any events are covered by our insurance and supported by our Community Fundraising Team. If you would like to learn more about joining a support group or becoming a ‘friend’, or need help with fundraising ideas, please contact Jessica Wilkes-Reading or Rhys Edwards on 01606 555488.
