On Good Friday a group 19 cyclists took on an amazing challenge to cycle from Middlewich to Swindon in memory of Mr Philip Hiett. The challenge ended at Philips childhood home in Swindon on Sunday the 20th of April.
David Hiett says: “My Grandad passed away last November having spent 10 weeks in St Luke’s. It’s only when you have family or friend cared for in there that you realise what a great service they provide. The whole place is focused on caring for both the patient and their family/friends, to help them through a really tough time. What would we do without such places?”
Jeff and his team cycled 150miles over 3 days with a couple of cyclists coming over from Canada to take part! Rhys Edwards (Community & Corporate Fundraiser) says:
“Thank you on behalf of everybody at St Luke’s, your continued support is very much appreciated!”
