Today 9th July 2014 St Luke’s were presented with a cheque from St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Nantwich for £1,200.
The children were all given the task to raise money for charity when the head Mrs Brown gave every class in the school £5 to try and make money for charity. The children did an amazing job and raised a massive £2,400 which when the charities were picked by the children themselves they chose St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice & Macmillan Cancer Support.
Mark Porter Corporate & Community Fundraiser for St Luke’s said “Thank you to everyone at St Anne’s Catholic Primary School the children have done a fantastic job raising such an amazing amount for both St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice & Macmillan Cancer Support.
