High Sheriff of Cheshire, Susan Sellers will take control of this years “Art in the Park” event which takes place at Oulton Park, near Northwich on 15th – 16th November. Come along and take part in the free community event, which includes craft workshops, vintage bus tours and thrilling track rides.

Why not try your hand at willow-weaving and create your very own masterpiece, or dabble in the art of mosaics and glass making. Artist Patricia Lee, will be there to guide and offer the best advice when producing your work of art.

Mrs Sellers said: “It will be an event for everyone, not only art-lovers. A chance to appreciate the fantastic creative talent base we have here in Cheshire and see behind the scenes of Oulton Park, sometimes overlooked unless you are a racing enthusiast.”

Susan visited St Luke’s back in June, and met our dedicated staff and volunteers, seeing first-hand the high quality services and support provided to our patients. The High Sheriff will be fundraising for St Luke’s and four other hospices at the “Art in the Park”.

Mark Porter, Corporate and Community Fundraiser said: “We are delighted The High Sheriff of Cheshire has chosen us, and the money raised will help provide patient care in the local community. Plus, “Art in the Park” offers something for all the family.”
