St Luke’s Hospice launched the #GoYellow campaign back in June to celebrate national hospice month. We asked our lovely supporters to raise money while having fun by creating yellow themed events and activities. Pauline Shallcross, a volunteer from St Luke’s Middlewich store raised a fantastic £130 when she hosted a tea@3 and wine@9 event as well as a ‘bring & buy’ for all her friends. The day consisted of drinking tea, eating cake and having a good natter, then moving onto the wine at nine.

Pauline says, “It was a really lovely day, everyone sported yellow themed clothes, ate lemon cake, surround by yellow flowers…even the table cloth was yellow. We were really pleased with the amount of money raised.”

This isn’t the first time Pauline has contributed to St Luke’s Hospice, for her 50th birthday she generously asked her friends and family not to buy her any presents, but to donate to St Luke’s Hospice which resulted in £300.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to Pauline and her friends for all their help and support.
