St Luke’s is very proud of it’s coffee shops. They are eateries with a difference. Our Hartford shop is now baking home made cakes on the premises and has branched out into a gluten free range.
Sarah Burgess said “Sarah, our shop manager is a coeliac and as with many people who need gluten free foods, she has struggled to find delicious bakery items. Having chatted between us and experimented with ingredients, we’ve successfully produced some lovely items for the coffee shop.”
Based on Chester Road in Hartford, the coffee shop can be accessed easily from the free parking area in front of the shops. Pop in soon for a slice of St Lucia banana cake, a delicious piece of tray bake or a tasty muffin. The shop also serves a range of savoury items and hot and cold drinks.
The team would love to hear what flavours you’d like them to try and bake. If you have a favourite recipe that you’d like to see on the menu, call in and speak to them.
Every slice of cake and cup of tea bought raises money for patient care.
