What did you give up this Stoptober?
Luke Burrows, aged 7 and his mum Sharon from Nantwich both gave up all their favourite yummy treats all in aid of St Luke’s. Sharon and Luke’s original goal was to raise £50 but they smashed it by raising £180. Luke has spread the fundraising word to all of his friends at school and they plan on taking part in Stoptober next year.
Sharon, splits her time between presenting a show on Red Shift Radio and teaching Zumba to young children. Last year, she warmed up the ladies for the Midnight Walk at the Red Shift stage and had them raring to go.
Mark Porter, Corporate and Community Fundraiser said, “Well done to both Luke and Sharon for giving up treats and goodies for St Luke’s. The money raised will help fund vital services and support to our patients. “
