Two friends from Crewe, Hayley Hughes, 28 and Corryn Walsh, 33 are shaving their heads in aid of St Luke’s. They aim to raise £5,000 and once they’ve hit their target, the scissors will be making an appearance in March.

Corryn said “We’ve both had people close to us receive support and services from St Luke’s Hospice. However, for us it’s not about our own personal story, there are thousands of stories out there. St Luke’s have touched people’s lives.”

Hayley said, “We are asking our lovely community to please sponsor us and help raise our target. The support we’ve receive so far has been amazing.”

Mark Porter said, “Hayley and Corryn are two fantastic individuals who are 100% committed to raising their target of £5,000 and shaving their heads in aid of St Luke’s Hospice. We appreciate the sheer determination shown from both girls and the money raised will go to benefit many patients at St Luke’s.”

The ladies hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, who provides real-hair wigs, free of charge to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
