Asda House in Leeds have encouraged all of their local stores to raise money for local charities. The branch in Winsford chose St Luke’s to be the recipients for their ‘Fun and Fizz’ themed Christmas games.
‘Spot the Snowball’ ran in store for two days leading up to Christmas and shoppers raised £108 for the hospice. Shoppers had to guess who had thrown the ball and where it had landed.
Caroline Cockbin, Asda’s Charity lead said “we wanted to have a bit of fun during a hectic Christmas shopping period. People took part and donated as they were passing after they’d done their shopping. Asda House kindly donated a hamper to the winner”.
Thank you to Asda and those who shop there for your continued support, we really do appreciate it.
