Nantwich Saturday Night Sequence Dancers hosted their biannual ‘Charity Dance’ at Malbank School last Saturday and raised a fantastic amount of £1,000 for St Luke’s.

The five founding members Harry Adderley, Caryl & Eddie George, Margaret & Ken Robinson started the dance club back in 2007 and to date have raised over £15,000 for various charities.

Twice a year they hold a “Charity Dance” whereby the money they receive from the entry fee and raffle is given to a chosen charity and this year they kindly chose St Luke’s. Mark Porter, Corporate & Community Fundraiser from St Luke’s received the £1,000 cheque.

Mark said “It was an absolute pleasure to meet all the members of the Saturday Night Sequence Dancers and we are thrilled to have been chosen as their charity. On behalf of everyone associated with St Luke’s we’d like to say a huge thank you. The money we have received will help and support patient care within our community.”
