St Luke’s furniture warehouse recently moved to bigger premises next door to the old warehouse, and the volunteers describe it as their ‘big shed’. The hospice is appealing for anyone who is interested in volunteering as part of the furniture warehouse team to come along to a recruitment drive. Taking place on Friday and Saturday 19-20 June, prospective volunteers can come and find out more between 10.00am and 2pm.

Simon Armitage, Warehouse Manager said
“Our volunteers are a truly fantastic team. There is great camaraderie and friendship amongst everyone, and every single person is valued. We are looking for people with a few hours to spare every week or fortnight. You may want to help with driving the vans, helping with house clearances, sorting donations behind the scenes, listing the collectables on eBay or being in the front line on the sales floor. Whatever your interest, ladies and gents, please come along”

The warehouse is located on the Winsford Industrial Estate (on Pineapple Park near to Polar Palace) and there is plenty of parking. Contact Simon or Mike on 01606 555825 for more information.
