After nominating St Luke’s again as their chosen charity of the year Poole Alcock have sponsored the first St Luke’s Snowdon Memorial Trek. The Memorial trek is on the the 19th July and will be starting at 9.00am from Llanberis Mountain Railway Station, taking in the fantastic views of Snowdonia, walking  up the Llanberis Path to the top of Snowdon. Once everyone reaches the top, our chaplain Rick Gates will hold a short memorial service. Anna Burns from Poole Alcock said Poole Alcock are delighted to be sponsoring the Snowdon memorial walk and hope to join St Lukes in walking up Snowdon on the day. It will be a wonderful achievement to climb the highest mountain in Wales and also to pay tribute at the top to the many people whom St Lukes have helped over the years.’

Mark Porter Corporate & Community Fundraiser at St Luke’s said “Thank you to Anna and all the team at Poole Alcock for supporting the Snowdon Memorial Trek it is very much appreciated by everyone here at the Hospice, As a charity we rely heavily on donation and fundraising efforts and we are so grateful to be working in partnership with Poole Alcock”
