Phil Davis, General Manager Business Services at Tata Chemicals Europe said: “It was a fantastic effort from a very determined team. It is that same dogged determination that has seen the company emerge from a difficult few years.

With a bright future now ahead of us, we want to give something back to our local communities, and fundraising and volunteering are a central part of what we are about. It’s very important to us that we are able to help invaluable local charities such as St Luke’s, and to support charities that have had a huge direct impact on people within our company, like Muscular Dystrophy UK.

I’m very impressed by our climbers and would like to thank everyone who donated – the generosity we have seen is incredible. We never expected to raise as much as we have done, and the donations are still coming in. The real test will be topping this success with our next challenge!”

Rhys Edwards said, “I would just like to thank all the team at Tata Chemicals. The 3 peaks challenge alone is tough, but to raise such a huge amount for two fantastic causes is incredible and we can’t thank the them enough. The money raised will help provide vital services and hospice care for our patients.”
