Zachariah Johnson from Winsford celebrated his 7th birthday earlier this month and chose to host his party with family and friends at St Luke’s Interiors coffee shop on Delamere Street, which helps to raise funds for the Hospice.

Whitegate Primary School pupil Zachariah was overjoyed at receiving presents and tucking into his birthday cake shaped as Despicable Me character “Minion” made by his dad Ian.

Zachariah’s mum Joanne Johnson said: “When I asked Zachariah what he wanted to do for his birthday, he jumped at the idea of having his party at St Luke’s Interiors coffee shop, which is best known as his special place. We visit Interiors on a regular basis and Zachariah loves talking to the volunteers about his day and chatting about his latest fishing adventure.”

Carole Heath, Interiors shop manager, commented: “It was an absolute pleasure to see how happy Zachariah was on the day surrounded by the people who love him. It’s fantastic to see young supporters such as him so actively involved with the Hospice, and from everyone at St Luke’s we’d like to say ‘Happy Birthday Zachariah’. Interiors coffee shop offers a great space inside and out for birthday parties and other functions.”
