Local purveyors of the world’s finest foods, Godfrey C Williams & Sons Ltd based in Sandbach are raising money for St Luke’s Hospice. From Mon 2nd November until Sat 19th December customers can take part in ‘guess how many beans are in the barrel’ competition.

For £1 per guess, the person who reaches the nearest number of beans will win the competition and receive a £100 Christmas Hamper.

Daniel Williams son of owner said “We are more than happy to have chosen to raise money for St Luke’s as the Hospice is close to our hearts. A couple of years ago my Grandad Godfrey of Godfrey C Williams spent the last few months of his life at the Hospice. The care he received was outstanding and we can’t thank the staff enough for how they helped our family. St Luke’s also provided respite care for my Gran Maureen Williams when she was poorly and we are so pleased to give something back to the Hospice.”

Mark Porter Corporate & Community Fundraiser at St Luke’s said “We would like to thank Daniel and everyone at Godfrey C Williams & Sons Ltd of Sandbach for choosing St Luke’s, every pound raised really does make a difference. The Hospice relies heavily on donations and fundraising efforts which enable us to continue our work and help people at such an important and difficult time.”
