We’d like to say a BIG thank you to Victoria ‘Tor’ Parry and her boyfriend ‘Spoonie’ from Winsford for organising a Halloween party at the Gladstone Club in Northwich. The fancy dress event took place on the 30th October and raised a fantastic £725!
Over 180 people attended, enjoying live music and entertainment in memory of Victoria’s Dad Nick Parry, 62 who spent his last three weeks at the Hospice in June this year.
Zoo2U employee Victoria said, “Everyone at the Hospice were just amazing, being here with Dad was like a home from home, we felt comfortable and relaxed. Dad loved his dogs, Pixie, Tilly and Ben, when Pixie and Tilly visited Dad his face just lit up and he was Dad again.”
Speaking about the event Victoria added, “The turnout was awesome, Dad had a big impact on a lot of people and the evening was a celebration of his life. Everyone who attended made a big effort with their Halloween costumes and we all had a great night.”
Chantal Hollingworth, Corporate and Community Fundraiser added, “From everyone at St Luke’s we would like to thank Tor and Spoonie for all their fundraising efforts. The money raised from the Halloween party will help support patient services and care for people in mid and south Cheshire.”
