We’d like to say a big thank you to students at Petty Pool for transforming St Luke’s famous red London routemaster bus into Santa’s magical Grotto. Students spent last week decking out St Luke’s bus with tinsel, fairy lights, Christmas trees and cuddly reindeers.
Hazel Hansip, Curriculum Director at Petty Pool College said “Petty Pool Vocational College have been involved with St Luke’s for 3 years. Our students really enjoy expressing their creativity when decorating St Luke’s bus and helping to wrap presents, the students loved being Santa’s little helpers. It was a great opportunity to develop valuable team working skills as well as helping our local community.”
Angela Slack, Corporate and Community Fundraiser said, “Thank you to everyone at Petty Pool for transforming St Luke’s bus into a magical and festive treat ready for Santa on Tour. It’s a wonderful experience for all involved and we really appreciate everyone hard work.”
Santa on Tour will be visiting a number of locations around Cheshire, spreading festive cheer and joy to children. For a suggested donation of £3 children will have the opportunity to meet Santa and receive a wrapped present.
