St Luke’s Hospice is set to host a new and exciting event, ‘An Audience with…’ on Wednesday 19th October.
The special guest to offer us an insight into their inspirational life is British businessman, CEO and owner of Timpson, John Timpson CBE. As a weekly columnist in The Telegraph, and fosterer to nearly 90 children, his life experiences are truly unique and fascinating. John will chat about his childhood, life running a multi-national business and how fostering children really keeps your feet on the ground, in a relaxed and informal interview.
The setting for this special lunch is equally outstanding, as television producer and screenwriter Phil Redmond CBE and his wife Alexis have kindly opened up their home, Tirley Garth as featured in Cheshire Life.
“This is a brand new concept for us and we’re so excited that John Timpson has accepted our invitation to share his story with us” said Catherine Moore, Senior Event Fundraiser. “We are so grateful to Phil and Alexis for kindly allowing us to use their stunning home in such beautiful surroundings for the event which will make the afternoon even more extraordinary.”
From midday- 4pm, the afternoon will begin with a two-course lunch and charity auction followed by the interview with John Timpson CBE. Tickets are £35 each and are limited due to the intimate venue, to book please call Catherine on 01606 555832 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The funds raised from the event will go directly towards patient care at the Hospice which cares for people from mid and south Cheshire suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses, who need to raise over £8,600 each day to keep their services free for local people.
