Conviviality Retail employees recently rode over 70 miles from their Crewe base to Southport, raising an amazing £1,970.50 for St Luke’s.

Following the success of a charity bike ride from Crewe to Llandudno in 2015, 15 members of staff and 4 support staff once again took to the roads in memory of delivery driver, Clive Forrester, who recently lost his battle with cancer.

Team Leader Tommy Morrison, commented:

“Clive was a valued member of the transport team who has been working with Conviviality for many years and is sorely missed. St Luke’s Hospice is a great charity and one that is close to our hearts. We hope the money makes a difference towards the continual care that patients need.”

Members of the team were supported by Conviviality stores en-route including Bargain Booze in Newton Le Willows and Wine Rack in Birkdale who provided refreshments during the course for the employees.

Supporters can still donate on the team’s Just Giving page.

Corporate Partnerships Manager at St Lukes, Steven Cook, commented: “It has been fantastic having a relationship with the team at Conviviality Retail. They’ve raised a substantial amount over the past 18 months and we look forward to more cycling endeavours in the future.”

Thank you to everyone at Conviviality Retail and their supporters for their generosity.
