Employing around 20,000 people worldwide, Air Products are passionate about community involvement and have a long history of supporting innovative programmes and projects. As headline sponsors their ethos is to continue acting as a good neighbour and demonstrate a commitment to health and vitality.
About the Midnight Walk
The annual Midnight Walk is now in its 13th year and is a major fundraiser for St Luke’s having generated well over £2.4m since its inception. The concept has consequently been rolled out nationally, bringing in over £40m for hospice care in the UK.
For one night every year, the streets of Crewe and Nantwich buzz with excitement as over 1000 ladies take to the pavements to tackle either a 6 mile or a demanding 13-mile route, taking in a refreshment break at MMU’s Crewe Campus with a start and finish line party atmosphere at Reaseheath College.
Commenting on the new partnership, St Luke’s Corporate Partnerships Manager Steven Cook said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Air Products on board. This sponsorship serves as a huge boost to further grow the event way beyond 2017, so we are excited the company share our values and beliefs.”
Tim Hulbert, Vice President at Air Products said: “The Midnight Walk has become a well-known annual event in area and I know many of our staff have taken up the challenge in previous years. With so many synergies it seemed a great opportunity to play an active role in our workforce’s community.”
