Since Swirly Whirly’s first opened its doors in 2012, we have endeavoured to build a strong and robust offer for local customers to raise money for our Hospice.  We have tried a number of options to ensure its success, but Nantwich has a growing number of options when it comes to eating out and alongside the ever changing face of the high street, it has become increasingly challenging to run Swirly’s as a viable income generating business.  Sadly, this means we will be closing the doors at Swirly’s at the end of March.

This decision has not been taken lightly and it is very sad to say goodbye to something we have built from scratch, but Swirly’s primary function is to raise money for the Hospice, and at this time it is not achieving this.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Swirly’s – to our staff and volunteers who have made the past five years possible, to our customers who have enjoyed our delicious food and quirky finds, to our donors who have given their pre-loved clothing to be sold in our attic, and to our fellow Nantwich traders who have made us feel most welcome in the town.

It has been wonderful to have a presence in Nantwich over the past five years, and we will continue to look for opportunities that will allow us to return to the town in the future.
