Crewe FC held their 2nd Annual Colour Run in February and raised an incredible £4000 for St Luke’s. Over 300 people took part to help raise this incredible amount of money.
Carole Salmon, Community Fundraiser at St Luke’s collected the cheque on behalf of St Luke’s, and said:
“This was a fantastic event and great fun to be part of. Thank you to Crewe FC for organising their Colour Run and the support from Kindertons and Everybody Leisure. The funds raised will go towards providing vital care for people in mid and south Cheshire, when they need it most.”
Andy Aspinall, 1st Team Manager at Crewe FC said: “Being able to support such an incredible charity in this way is an absolute privilege.
St Luke’s is a charity which resonates with a great deal of people associated with the Club, both young & old and past & present.
It was a fantastic event and I’m extremely proud of everyone who played a part in helping us achieve such an impressive total.”
St Luke’s would like to say a huge thank you to Crewe FC for choosing to support us and to everyone who took part in the Colour Run.
