Hundreds of staff at a Holmes Chapel based Healthcare firm have rallied together to help replenish stock for our shops.
Employees at Sanofi responded to our recent appeal for resalable stock to refill the shelves.
Carole Smith at Sanofi, encouraged colleagues to bring in their unwanted belongings and arranged a collection day with our Routemaster bus onsite throughout the day. In total, the company collected an incredible 90 bags of potential stock, which will now be sorted and distributed to our shops.
Steven Cook, Corporate Partnerships Manager at St Luke’s, said: “It’s incredible what companies can achieve when all staff members pull in the same direction for a cause. This is certainly one of those examples and we are hugely grateful. Without this type of support we simply couldn’t operate, so it’s a tremendous effort.”
Carole, whose father received treatment at the Hospice just 12 months earlier commented:
“I’m delighted to be able to assist and give something back to such a wonderful charity. Staff here have really embraced the idea and we look forward to helping more in the future.”
Sanofi is a global life sciences company committed to the prevention and treatment of a wide range of diseases, transforming scientific innovation into healthcare solutions.
