Lee Hulme our Hospice Hero and his good friend Craig have just completed another great challenge for St Luke’s – Canoeing in Scotland.

It was a great trip all round but extremely hard with the daily strong winds and torrential rain especially on Loch Lochy and Loch Ness.

They were part of a group of 10 people, 5 Canadians, 1 American and the 2 guides with each couple sharing an open Canadian Canoe.

Every morning each canoe was loaded with tents, sleeping bags, food etc for their daily canoe journey across the Great Glen Way, taking 5 days to complete.

Each day provided different scenery and some days were more challenging than others especially on Loch Lochy and Loch Ness due to the waves caused by the strong winds. They all made it home safely and thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of the challenge.

Huge thanks to Lee and Craig for their continued support.
