Staff at St Luke’s Hospice are looking smarter thanks to the donation of new lanyards.
Ryman Stationery in Crewe has kindly donated a supply of St Luke’s branded lanyards to the Hospice so that staff can clearly display their ID badges.
St Luke’s issued an appeal on Facebook in December for a local business to support the Hospice by supplying the lanyards free-of-charge, and Ryman Stationery got in touch. The Theo Paphitis Charitable Trust (of Dragon’s Den fame) kindly matched the donation which resulted in 400 lanyards being donated.
Lewis Delaney, Business Sales Manager for Ryman Stationery, said: “We are based in Crewe and really keen to support local charities. We were delighted that we could help St Luke’s on this occasion.”
Alice Eeyley, HR Assistant at St Luke’s Hospice, added: “We are so grateful to Ryman for their generosity and supporting St Luke’s in this practical way. Our old lanyards had definitely seen better days, so this supply of bright blue ones branded with the St Luke’s logo is much appreciated by staff!”
