The New Year sees the launch of our new health and fitness challenge Mission SlimPossible where you commit to a 12 week programme which will improve your health, increase your fitness level and help you achieve your weight-loss goals.
Mission SlimPossible has its main focus on diet and your journey will be led by qualified naturopathic nutritional therapist Naomi Langford-Archer, owner of Gut Nutrition. Her natural approach to optimal health and wellbeing covers both the body and mind, so in addition to diet there will be a whole host of fitness activities to suit both men and women including Boxfit and Belly Dancing, plus moral support from fellow participants.
Throughout the programme we will also be offering additional guidance including a cookery demonstration, motivational evening and a talk on gut health.

Mission SlimPossible is a fantastic way to make some positive, lasting changes in your life, and of course a great way to raise money for St Luke’s. Taking part in the programme is completely free of charge, however we kindly ask that you commit to raising £325 or more in sponsorship for St Luke’s.
As with all weight loss programmes, we can only help you so far – the hard work, will power and determination to succeed will have to come from you! We hope that this target will provide an added incentive knowing that by achieving your goals you are also helping to provide care for patients here at the Hospice.

The 12 week programme will begin on Tuesday 23rd January when we hold our first meeting at the Hospice and at the end of the 12 weeks the group will come together to celebrate our achievements.
