Get festive for St Luke’s on a Friday that suits you. Whether it be at school or at work, we have lots of simple, fun and Christmassy activities that you can get involved with to fundraise for St Luke’s this Christmas.
Winter Woolies Day
Get you favourite winter warmers on for the day. Each person could give a suggested donation of £2 and wear their christmassiest, cosiest, quirkiest jumpers, socks and bobble hats with pride.
Get the boss/teacher in a onesie
Set your fundraising target to get your boss or teacher in the most elaborate and festive onesie of your choice. It may be worth checking that the boss/ teacher is willing to sacrifice their dignity for the day before nominating them.
Cakes for Care Christmas Bake Sale
Christmas cake, mince pies, gingerbread, panottoni… a bake sale is the only way to get a taste of the festivities.
‘How many baubles are on the tree?’ Sweepstake
Download the poster and for a suggested donation of £2, your colleagues can take a guess at how many baubles are on the Christmas tree. Half of the donated amount could go to the winner and the other half to St Luke’s!
Deck your Desk with Bells and Holly
If your grey office needs a festive makeover, you and you colleagues could give a donation to deck your desk in the most festive, twinkly decorations for Christmas. Select a judge to crown the winner, ‘Santa’s best decorator 2016’. If you need some pre-event inspiration, take a look at our Pinterest board.
Whether you choose to take part in just one of these activities or all of them, we’d like to say a huge thank you for helping us continue to provide vital care to patients over the Christmas period.
We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!
