Fundraise and celebrate our 30th anniversary
This year we celebrate our 30th anniversary, and what a year we have planned!
The local community began raising money to build St Luke’s in 1983, and after years of hard work and dedication by founding members, support groups and the local community, the Hospice officially opened to patients on 7th March 1988.
Today fundraising is more important than ever because almost 85% of care costs (around £3million) are raised in this way, so support from the local community is absolutely essential because it ensures we are able to continue to provide our services today, tomorrow and in the future.
Throughout 2018, our team are encouraging you and the whole of Cheshire to get behind our fundraising and help celebrate our 30th anniversary! You can take part in a fundraising event or organise your own fundraiser; we have some great ideas below which we’ll update every month or you can do something else – whatever you decide to do we guarantee it will make a difference.
Our team are here to support you and make sure that everything you do for St Luke’s is fun! Please do get in touch and tell us about what you’re planning, you can email us at email@example.com or call 01606 555697.
